For many in a busy city—especially those from countries unfamiliar with Thanksgiving, living alone, or far from close family—this holiday is a meaningful time to gather as one family in God. Inspired by the longstanding tradition of giving thanks among the Wampanoag peoples and the pursuit of peace, we come together to appreciate our blessings, care for our planet, and share our resources with justice and love.

Join us on the Sunday before Thanksgiving at 11:15 AM for our Thanksgiving Communion Service, followed by a joyful reception featuring all the traditional American Thanksgiving dishes we prepare together. Everyone is welcome, and no sign-up is required!

If you would like to help us prepare the feast, come along to 111 East 60th Street (bell 3F):

  • Saturday at 4:00 PM: Cooking and meal preparation in the parish office and kitchen.
  • Sunday at 10:00 AM: Decorating and setting up the parish room for the reception.

We look forward to welcoming you around the table!
