In honor of Canada Day, the garden flashed red and white for this final gathering at Saint-Esprit of the Francophone young adults group before a short summer break.
Newcomers and regulars alike shared hot dogs and burgers, with vegan options, thanks to our Grill Master and distinguished young adult, Miss Wendy! Under her expert and watchful eye, Joris even tried grilling his first hot dog without setting the trees on fire!
For dessert, there were Canadian treats: the essential pouding chômeur and the famous Nanaimo bars, made by a real Canadian!

En l’honneur de la fête du Canada, le jardin clignotait en blanc et rouge pour ce dernier rendez-vous à Saint-Esprit du groupe de jeunes adultes francophones avant une petite pause estivale.
Nouveaux venus et habitués ont pu partager hot-dogs et burgers (avec options vegan !) grâce à notre Grill Master et jeune adulte émérite, Miss Wendy ! Sous son œil expert et vigilant, Joris s’est même essayé à griller son premier hot-dog sans mettre le feu aux arbres !
Pour le dessert, place aux gâteaux canadiens : l’incontournable pouding chômeur et les fameuses Nanaimo Bars, faits par un véritable Canadien !
