Thank you to everyone who joined us on Sunday, May 17, for our first participation in the Sacred Sites Open House organized by the New York Landmarks Conservancy.
It was a joy to welcome visitors into our “little French church” and to share the rich history of the French Church du Saint-Esprit, from our Huguenot founders and the stories of 19th-century immigrants to the life of our parish community today.

Throughout the afternoon, guests explored archival displays featuring rare documents dating back to 1689, discovered hidden stories and curiosities from our history, and followed our newly created self-guided tour through the spiritual and historical journey of Saint-Esprit.

We are deeply grateful to all who visited, asked questions, shared conversations, and helped make this special day such a meaningful experience for our parish community.

We also extend our thanks to the New York Landmarks Conservancy for organizing this wonderful citywide celebration of New York’s sacred spaces and histories.
