Cultural Activities

A performance space unlike any other!

Our sanctuary space doubles as an 80 person auditorium for musical recitals.  We have enjoyed recitals of the Paraguayan Harp, the Harpsichord and the Organ, to name but a few instruments.  We have enjoyed original cabaret acts and Broadway ballads and the list keeps growing.  Please contact us if you have an idea or fully produced show.  Remember that we have to find the right time slot for your performance and the content is subject to a review by the Rector.

Theatrical Performances

The church has housed shows by parishioners and their friends to the public.  Staged readings and fully produced performances have included works by Feydeau, Marivaux, Ionesco, Becket, Genet, Sartre, and Francophone writers from Haiti and Africa. Past performances have been held at the Saint Esprit sanctuary but also at the Cultural Services center of the French Embassy and at the National Arts Club in Gramercy Park.

With interests as diverse as our parishioners, we have held seminars and presentations that span travelogues to immigration workshops.
